Welcome to the Far East...Day One

Made it to Bangkok safely...strangely enough, the plane arrived 45 minutes early. It is hotter than heck here...a cool 97-98 degrees today. We took a cab this AM from the hotel...they offered us a limo for 1,200 Baht (about 40 US Dollars), or we could take a metered taxi. The taxi cost 4 US Dollars. I think we made the right decision.

The office is nice. They took like half the office and our audit team out today (about 18 people), and the total bill at a very, very nice restaurant was $100 USD. Gotta love Asia...

We are supposed to be going to a Tailor shop tonight, and the IT Lead is taking us to Pat-Pong street; if I haven't mentioned this earlier, this street is known for good bargaining as well as women that are skilled at throwing things to each other, but not using their hands. Or wearing any clothes...we will see if I do more than just bargaining for purses and luggage.

That's all for now...
