Weekend in Rome

Back from Rome...exhausted but worth it!

Started off Friday by walking around the city, waiting for one of our colleagues to get in from the other Monsanto Italy audit going on. James got in around 10, and we had some pizza at a local pub...decided to not go out, since we were getting up very early on Saturday AM for some sightseeing.

Saturday, was up at 6:30 a.m. [yuck]. But, it was worth it...went to the Vatican and saw the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Then, we took a tour of the crypt of St. Peter's Basilica to see St. Pter's tomb, then took a tour of the basilica. Amazing.

After that, took a tour of the Parthenon and Trevi Fountain. Then, we shot over to go inside for a quick tour of the Coliseum. Headed back to the hotel for a nap, which I was not able to take. We then went to a club and had to get bottle service to get in, and closed the place down.

Today, we got up and went to the Forum, Palatine Hill, & the Spanish steps. Got on the Eurostar and got back in shortly...what a great, crazy weekend!
