Labor Day Weekend - Lake of the Ozarks

Hola....

The weekend was a fantastic one, making our first of hopefully many voyages to Kenny and Krissy's beautiful lake house down in Osage Beach, MO, as they are temporarily relocated down there...a quick recap of the weekend.

Friday Night: Scott and Sarah rolled in around 10 p.m., and Wally, Pat and Brian came over to hang out. We had a few cocktails to celebrate the return of Scott and Sarah to the STL and then went out downtown to Paddy O's and Hrabosky's, which was going very strong when we got there just after a Cardinal win. At 2:00 a.m., we decided to call it a night, which contributed to a late start in the morning for a very ambitious goal of leaving between 9-10 a.m.

Saturday: Rolled into Osage Beach, MO, after stopping at Wal-Mart for some supplies and rolled into Kenny and Krissy's beautiful abode. You can see the freakin' water it is so close to the Lake. We immediately got changed and hopped on to the water for swimmin', drinkin', and tubin' along with Krissy's sister, Katie, and BF Jim. A few minor neck injuries later from Captain Kenny and we called it a night on the Lake. We then headed to a place called DogDays for some dinner, which was fun. We then headed back to Kenny and Krissy's and played bags until around midnight and headed to bed.

Sunday: Played lots of bags, and headed back out to the boat. Scott and Sarah, being the great people that they are, had to unfortunately leave, but it was for a good cause as they went to see Sarah's grandma. They are such great people...we continued to play bags and headed out on the water for a few hours. We were treated to some delicious cooking by Captain Kenny and played a ton of bags and had my first taste of Nintendo Wii. It is a lot of fun. Suddenly, all the Hypnotiq was gone and it was 3 a.m. and time for bed.

Monday: Pretty much a lazy day of some bags, some Wii, Kenny's grilling, and a trip to Krissy's place o' employment. It was a good day and we shoved off around 2 p.m. All in all, a great weekend and a great place to take a mini-vacation. Big ups to Kenny and Krissy to being wonderful hosts to us all weekend! We had a blast and can hopefully make it back soon!
